Ian Ross
About Ian
Ian Ross (he/him) is an Indie-Folk, acoustic based musician who has been playing since he was 13 years old. Having played in bands from the age of 16, Ian credits his work with other musicians for the collaborative and artistic knowledge he possesses today. With music that feels light, elevated, and shifting; Ian is inspired by small moments in an average day, any conversation or object in the right light can be put under an emotional microsope and made into something worth spending 3 to 4 minutes listening to. Ian’s indie grooves and lead guitar coaxes you to close your eyes and be transported through an autumnal dream.
This will be Ian Ross’s first self produced solo show.
Tyler Purdy
Tyler Purdy (he/him) is a songwriter with alternative folk influences who has been playing and creating music since he was 9 years old. Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan; Tyler finds inspiration is manifested almost haphazardly and without notice. Through unique, well crafted musical composition expect to be transported on a personal journey like a friend singing to you by the campfire.
You can find Tyler Purdy on Spotify under the name Garden Birds.
About Michael
Michael Zimmer (he/him) is a rock, folk, and sad songs musician, currently working in Metro Detroit. Excited by the release of Guitar Hero III, Michael picked up his musical studies at 14 and has been creating music ever since. Michael’s work invites you to experience melancholy, a twinge of nostalgia, and, perhaps, a touch of wistful yearning with influence from movies, literature, and classic Indie and Rock artists.
Michael continues to release music through his old band on spotify, My Girlfriend Beru.
About Jane
Jane Marie Rogers (they/them) is a multi-instrumentalist based in Detroit, MI dedicated to music that inhabits betweennesses, finding spaces between safety and pain, stillness and motion, gentleness and intensity, insularity and intimacy and change. This can take many different forms—anything from chamber pop to harsh noise to glacial piano structures—but always shares a grounding in the patient, the cathartic, and the kind. Alongside their solo projects, they also make music with the contemporary classical group Front Porch, the free improv/performance art troupe BRIGE, indie-rock heartthrobs Pia the Band, and experimental folk musician Annick Odom.
