Amanda Zawisza (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist currently performing with Disney Cruise Line as a member of the Inaugural Cast of the Disney Wish. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Wayne State University, achieving a BFA in Dance with Honors, a BSED in Kinesiology concentrated in Exercise & Sport Science, minoring in Psychology. Amanda holds a wide variety of interests and has a vast professional resume. From presenting award-winning choreography at WSU, to being a professional company member of ConteXture Dance Detroit, to training internationally with world-renowned contemporary artists, to her Detroit-based freelance dance career; Amanda's training and performance experience expands over a diverse breadth of styles and has shaped her into an athletic and energetic performer, passionate for every project she takes on. Amanda is a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, eager to help performing artists train to become efficient movers and reduce injury risk. Additionally, Amanda is a self-taught graphic designer with many years of experience in publicity and marketing. She is incredibly excited to step into her new role as Creative Director of étude and help bring support to artists as they dive into their creative process and bring their vision to life.
